I used to be like that, I had never heard of BDSM. But I had a relationship where we would have minor aspects (like handcuffs, blindfolds, spanking, hair pulling etc.) of it involved... Never even heard of it until 2 or 3 years after I found out that I "like it rough". It was by complete coincidence, but I was secretly quite thrilled

And I have a few gf's who would say that BDSM is not for them at all, but at the same time they will say stuff like, "I hate being on top, I want to be held down" or "I love it when he bites me".

Ah...that nice warm feeling you get when you find out other people like what you do as well.

My friends kind of know I like this stuff, not sure how much they know though, but a few months ago my friends sister asked me the name for what I was into and if I knew anywhere she could find out more information about it. I think some peoples attitudes to BDSM is slowly changing to see it in a better light but I can only speak for the people I knowâ€¦maybe because people know Iâ€™m a bit a of a joker they feel happier talking to me about it than they do with others, they always have the safety net of â€œI was just having a laughâ€ with me if they start to feel uncomfortable.

I think a lot of people like BDSM but wont admit they like it or simply donâ€™t know the name of what they like.

I don't think you can tell if sombody is into BDSM just by looking at them though (unless they're wearing something which tells you but not everyone else).

When I met Master I had already been into bdsm for a while. He had never heard of it. After I explained what it was I asked him if he liked it and he said no. I told him I did and showed him some porn. After watching a video he asked if I was really into the things in the video. I told him yes. Then he opened up more about it. He was worried that if he said he liked having rough sex with women I would leave him because I would be scared. He thought his fantasies were taboo because they were the stories he was hearing on the evening news which ended with the guy going to prison. I told him it was ok there are some women who like to be "man handled". Then he slowly started opening up more about his fantasies and now he is my Masters. Its suprising what a porno can start.

I agree. It must be hard to do that when you're not sure if she likes it or not. I would find it harder to talk about that for the first time than I would about anything else, it's just the uncertainty about her potential reaction that would put me off at first. I'm the same (only male lol). I was, and still am, considered a good influence. Mothers love me around their daughtersâ€¦fathers hate it though, I think they know something about my sexual fantasies.
