I think a lot of these events make their rules sound strict to make people make an effort and really think about it
I think you both looked really cute and getting dressed up and having to think about it is 1/2 the fun
(and my x has a lovely leather kilt so they deff can be fettish as well) - but no fair on the no Goth thats my usual easy way into a club

Jett- I think it's part wanting to have everyone in high spirits, and part because they didn't want club kids coming in, and it makes it harder to tell who's there for the event and who's not. Although the leathercop bouncer probably deterred a lot of the clubbers.
