well i have snow here but it's too cold for me so i'm going home today...

Hmm...snow, for me, would be both good and bad. Because I'm on benefits, I can get a £25 cold weather payment if the temperature is zero, or less, for 5 days in a row. However, snow also means that it could be difficult for my master to visit me, and if it snows when I'm about to go away, my train could be cancelled

I've finally found the stuff to light up my Xmas tree!

It's all wonky though, I can't get it to stand up straight

And I've found a load of my missing collars too!

Visits from my master tomorrow and Sunday (hopefully for a ride on his motorbike on the Sunday), and then I'm off up to North Wales for Xmas on Wednesday, which will take a bus and two trains. With living high up in the hills, snow on the roads is the absolute last thing I need, for any of the above

On a completely unrelated to anything note, I was alone in my dormitory last night (for the first time since mid-August) and learned, by chance, that while this isn't exactly a safe tactic (in case of fire or something like that), tying my ankles and knees together stops me from sleeping in positions that end up being really painful in the morning (really bad hips)!

I usually curl up into a ball to sleep, but wherther I'm curled up or lying straight, I always end up suffering in my knees/back/shoulders

I lie on my side to read in bed too, and my wrist is in agony by the time I put my book down

OH...AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FREEZING!!!

I wish I could send you some heat =( It was stiffling in my bedroom last night and I couldn't get the window open because it was frozen shut . . . the high was 7F here last night, and it would have cooled the room down pretty quick.
