I'm curious too, but my master will not, absolutely, due to safety concerns and a lot we're both scared it would trigger me.
I agree with everything that's said, though. And I'm curious, what blades did you start with? Unlike said, I've always found more control in knives, but razors give you a definite advantage in planning depth, and seeing was that's the safety concern, obviously those seem more sensible.
