Hey
One of my BDSM-friends invited me to something like a "BDSM-Party"
Does anybody of you ever had experience with that?
What is happening on such a party?
Who intensive?

I've been to many such parties, and they range in intensity from mild to way out on a limb, but all were enjoyable. If you've never been, its definitely an experience to enjoy and learn from.
Typically what you should expect is various displays with people engaging in scenes, in different rooms, while others watch, comment, and make suggestions to try for their own enjoyment.
Typically there are more private rooms where sex is occurring, sometimes in private, sometimes not, sometimes between master and sub, sometimes with others....

The point is that its a party derived around what we all love and enjoy, so by all means enjoy yourself. have fun, and be sure to tell us all about it when you return

Only BDSM party I've been on was in really big club and was destroyed by the church members god damn assholes...
At least I've bullwhiped couple of priests and random people

You might want to ask your friend about what to expect. Is this party hosted by experienced people, or is this a casual get-together by curious amateurs? Is there a dress code? Will you be expected to keep your private parts covered? Will they be practicing safe sex? Will there be monitors there to make sure that scenes are safe, or will that be between the doms and the subs? A lot of this you can probably figure out at the party, but it never hurts to come into it knowing the rules.
