I think they would be way too expensive... because of the various creatures, special effects and generally expensive enviroments... but a good it would be indeed.

Checked your page Romanslaver. You have a good taste in art

. As to yor "volunteer" plan? Likely NO GO. You may find fans of this genre and period but they will NOT allow themselves to be filmed and then commercially exploited.

If you invested into your "auction room" you likely make more money by inviting various folks and charge admission ( or a club fees) to participate. As to making videos, you will find out that with only professional models you have a shot at it.

I wish you a lot of luck anyway.
