This is an amiable film, excellently photographed and structured in leisurely sequences rather than the usual short and often disjointed scenes of less ambitious porn.
A young Colorado man, vibrant, uncut, swim-built Scott Andersen, sets out on a quest to locate his lifelong idol, porn star J.W. King, in San Francisco - but not before having sex with his roommate David Wilcox one more time. Generous closeup footage captures their hard head-over-heels fucking and expressive facial reaction shots.
While hitchhiking, Andersen is "" to suck off a highway patrolman Clint Lockner. While Lockner commands in his deep baritone voice to "take hold of it" and "put your mouth on it," Andersen eats and chokes on his large hardon. The action is intercut with quick shots of the officers leathers and other paraphernalia, meant to convey Andersens rising fear and distaste. King, with his enthusiastic sucking, fucking, and kissing, shows us why he was the emperor of gay sex films of the Seventies. When was the last time you saw a man devour another man hes kissing? Kings magnificent face, body, cock, and uninhibited lovemaking are memorable. Andersen, unfortunately, cannot live up to his idol. This film is a fine tribute to mature men, J.W. King in particular, and gay living and loving in the pre-AIDS era.
