I have wondered this myself... I think for me I have always found it interesting. As far back as I can remember (pretty damned far, too) I have had fantasies with a BDSM twist. I want to say at least the age of 3. I remember trying to tie myself us when I was 10-12 years old especially. It just seemed so right. I have always found certain types of pain intriguing and addicting (i.e. mouth pain) I loved kanker sores especially as a child. I read a book when I was 14 that definitely spelled it out for me (the man was into bondage) and have been drawn to these stories ever since. Recently and most definitively was a book about tpe 24/7 and I fell in love. I spent a lot of time hating myself for my "dirty" thoughts, but now I am becoming more and more ok with myself. As time is passing I find that I can more smoothly connect my everyday life with my suby tendencies. I might not be super experienced yet but

My personal preference has always been spanking/corporal punishment. I first became aware of it when I was about 8 years old and found a copy of Janus Spanking Special 4 hidden in my dad's desk at home. The pics left a real impression on me (the reason why I remember the specific copy of the magazine is some images stayed in my head, especially a cartoon of a girl scrumping for apples then being spanked. An example of this was when I sent off to the USA for a Nu West catologue. There was a knock at the door a few weeks later and it was Her Majesties Customs! They asked if I had imported anymore, i said no, they then searched my magazines and confiscated a Dutch hardcore porn mag as well (fortunately they didn't find my pile of French BDSM comics). I was 24 and still living at home with my mum, luckily she was down the pub. It shook me up and I think they realised, so they were pretty quick in case my mum came home.
Anyway i digress! My actual physical involvement in spanking is minimal, my girlfriends have been vanilla and try as i might i didn't like spanking them. It didn't feel right unless they were 100% into it.
