Yeah but even with the learning curve sometimes the final bosses of some games are absurdly easy now. In the old games it was about learning complex patterns, and in rare cases taking advantage of glitches. Now sometimes the bosses in the middle of games are hardest and the end game boss is easy. I guess it's to give the player a break after a big challenge but it tends to leave me wanting more.

Omg I wanna be the guy. That game pisses me off.

My bestest friend is the guy!

And I've noticed that too. Donkey Kong is absurdly hard, whereas Jak & Daxter....yeah, I beat that game every year in 1-3 days as therapy as to warm myself up to ps2 controls if I haven't played in a while.

Yeah Super Meat Boy is insanely hard. But as you mentioned before developers do have time restraints, but indie games like that have the luxury to make the game as hard as they want since they're technically more simple to program.

I miss games that weren't hard at all. Just something you play for pure fun. Just Cause on xbox 360 was like that for the most part. Just finished it. Now I need a new game to play. I have n idea what though. I got my eye on Just Cause 2, but its too expensive right now.

I was told I should try assasins creed. I've not played it yet. I'm also looking for a game cheap since I don't have a job. Anything new is going to be expensive. I just finished Just Cause that I paid $6 for. I still need to beat Shrek the Third on the hardest difficulty, but its so dang hard!
