Question about posting pics on here

I posted a thread about this in the pic and video section but I guess it got ignored or deleted so I'm trying here. I'm sort of unsure and confused about posting pics in that section. I went to the recommended hosting sites and it seems that I have to pay for a premium account in order for the files to stay on the server forever. Is that true or am I misunderstanding something? And also in the terms of service for all of them it seems that pornographic material is against the rules. How does everyone get around that? Or is there a way to upload pics directly from my computer into a thread?

just go imageshack or any other the other billion free image hosting websites. Maybe flickr can do it too. Find a porn image hosting site?

Okay cool, I went with filefap. Just wondering, why is there a list of banned hosting sites in the sticky? Do they have viruses? Oh and which link do I use? Do I use the HTML code, forum code or direct link?

dude I think you're thinking about this too hard.
Just upload your pictures, make a thread, and experiment with which code works best. See there's this button called "edit", where you can edit your posts if you dont like the way to the code worked!

or, before you post the thread, you can click the "go advanced" button and see what your post will look like before its actually on the forums.

EDIT: master says I'm being too harsh, especially if you haven't used the internet much =P

Oh yeah I forgot about the preview lol... And it's okay, I haven't used file hosting sites in a while, I used photobucket years ago but it's been forever.
