This is prudent for legal reasons, actually. As I said, a lot of the things that doms do to sub qualify legally as assault, even if the sub consents to it. So until she's a legal adult, there are all sorts of ways this could get messy for you.

Yes I know the legal ramificatios off such things, half my family are cops and the other half are lawyers, and I get to be the kinky wildlife biologist. YAY!

She's also newer than I am in bdsm and I don't want her to rush into something and have guilt later over "hurting me"

J&B: Please don't get the idea that I'm some sort of uber-dom. It wasn't even a year ago that I realized I was interested in s&m, so I really only have about 10 months of experience. I've known people who were into the scene for years, and it turns out I have a natural talent for it, but I'm hardly an expert. Sparrow is the real expert on this site, and there are a good number of others here who have much more experience than I do. But I thank you for the kind words.
