I'm really racking my brains on this. I had a book from a fetish/bdsm author, and I no longer own it. I'm trying to remember the author's name. He wrote in a very strange, post-modern(?) style, and I distinctly remember him looking a little like Anton LaVey. The book I had was a futuristic erotica story about a woman (or woman like being) making and training this other woman to give birth to her child. The place was organic, I think, the whole area they lived may have been alive? And there were bands of 'rapers' running around. It was a very strange book, and for the life of me I can't remember its name or who the hell wrote it. ANY tips will be appreciated. This is driving me nuts.

Long shot: Gor science fiction novels by John Norman.

I am not an expert on these novels but recently discovered them by reading John Ringo's (also a sci-fi author) novel Ghost, which is not sci-fi, but rather military fiction (spec ops) and quite good.

The characters mention Gorean culture at some point....

Ghost is the first in a series of five (so far) books.

If you like Military Fiction and BDSM then you will likely love these too.
