Hello! My girlfriend and I are very interested in exploring the lifestyle of BDSM. I have been doing reading on the subject and have also found out some friends of mine are also into the experience. I've come to find out from them that many venues that held BDSM parties in the L.A. area have closed down, leaving fewer options for my girlfriend and I to find. The main issue is that she is 20 for another year and most venues are 21+. For instance, parties held by Perversion used to be held at the Ruby, an 18+ venue, but now that the Ruby's closed Perversion moved to a 21+ club. Further frustrating me is the natural anonymity of the BDSM scene that makes it difficult to find where/when parties will be held without knowing some one that's going.
So my questions are: can anyone suggest good 18+ venues near Los Angeles that may be holding parties soon? What other ways can my girlfriend and I experience BDSM? We're rather new and could use guidance on what to do next. Thanks
