Links to advertisement sites?!

Hi, I'am a little bit new here, I have found something that I don't understand... perhaps It's just a stupid question, but I would like to ask. In many threads the link to the video I would like to see It's just like this:

http://smplace.com/bannedurl/download.php?id=rUucbEx1sqsEcBLEyoSVxb7atYTdc3tmXin_DELEQF8

and I'm redirected to and advertising site. What does it mean? What am I doing wrong? Thankyou. By the way, amazing forum!

It could be spam, or you could have to be a member of the host site to have the link work. I don't do videos, but those seem like the obvious answers.

The reason it's like that is because Oron is down, if you haven't learned that yet.
