Oedipus Orca is the sequel to La Orca both directed by Visconti and starring Rena Niehaus. In La Orca a high school aged girl played by Niehaus is kidnapped and held for ransom, while the second movie Oedipus Orca is about her life with her family and boyfriend after she returns home. The first film was somewhat controversial and labeled pornographic by some due to its exploitive nudity and sexuality involving a teenage girl. Oedipus Orca begins with her return home. The exploitive side as the film series continues as she is nude every few minutes. She once again uses sex to her advantage against a family friend. This movie has lots of flashbacks to the first film and deals with her emotional state a lot. The most memorable is when she visits the room she was held captive in and masturbates while recalling having sex with her captor. It makes as strong a statement as I can think of, of how the mind can be twisted by such a situation. NOTE: the credits are cut off at the end of this film.

Several attractive porn stars have been invited to join the cast of what is sure to be an event picture in the porn industry. The mysterious director is in disguise, but nobody seems to mind. As the scenes play out (both on the set and off) there is a sense of optimism in the air. The actors are enthusiastic (two may actually be falling in love) and the goofy crew members are pleased with their work. There is one problem: a masked killer is on set and steadily killing off the talent. Porn Shoot Massacre is a title that is almost critic-proof. Nobody watching this should be expecting Kubrick. Terrible actors wander around cheap sets under the direction of a man wearing the worst disguise in years. The film is more focused on character than plot, which is a nice change of pace. The script may not be the strongest, but the writing attempts to bring some depth. The film is strongest when it mocks the ultra low budget world that has spawned it. There is ample nudity, as there should be with this title, and the ladies seem quite comfortable in the silly scenarios that even include a little person in a king-sized three-way. The actresses are quite capable of acting sexy or bitchy, but most other emotions (like fear) seem foreign. There are a few twists along the way as to who will be the Final Girl (a cheat prevents a fair guess).
