I have amassed quite a collection of erotic novels by Black Lace. They don't specialise in BDSM, but among them are a few good BDSM novels, for example...

'I Know You, Joanna' and 'Kings's Pawn' by Ruth Fox
'Sleazy Rider' by Karen S Smith
'Slave To Success' by Kimberley Raines'
'Entertaining Mr Stone' and 'Continuum' by Portia Da Costa
'Liberty Hall' by Kate Stewart
'The Captivation' by Natasha Rostova

And I've been working on a novel of my own for 5 years, about a stubborn former pro dominatrix who is taught by an equally stubborn, and dangerous, dominant man how to accept and enjoy the delights of slavery. It's finished, but far from complete, if that makes any sense, and once it is finally finished, I'll be sending it off for consideration.

That is nothing less than awesome. Too bad he didn't let you give the rest of your presentation though. Just shows that we still need to spread the understanding, right?

As i said, read it as a literary book, not as a religious book. Just because you don't believe in god, doesn't mean that the book doesn't exist. Hell, My Theology teacher in Seminary to me "the bible is the greatest work of Fiction ever written by Man" and he was A Catholic Priest.

You know, I think I could actually get along with that priest. Most religious people I know pretty much babble on about how the Bible is completely infallible. It's nice to see that there are some people out there that can still believe in God, while still being able to think critically about a book that was written by multiple authors over many years, long after Jesus had died.

'The Sword of Truth' series by Terry Goodkind have several BDSM themes throughout, most famous being the Mord-Sith, leather-clad interrogationists and "trainers" of the D'Haran military. I think they even made the crappy 'condensed for TV' version: Legend of the Seeker (ABC).

i think he had an issue with me saying "It clear that the Marque was stuck in the Anal Phase of development by his numerous references of placing his engorged penis membrane into the virgin anuses of underage maidens in a guise to protect their virtue, only to devour said virtue after they were in a state of conformed complacency from having been sodomized forcefully." as that was the quote that he wrote on the report of my paper, and the last thing I said in my tirade of obscene and vulgar references and quotes of passages...

I don't know why I didn't think of that in the wee hours of the morning. They butchered it to put it on TV, but the Confessors.... Of my....

And I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Ann Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy. So I get firsties on them: They suck.

Specifically: I'm guessing every fifth word is "spank". Apart from spanking there are probably two themes; Beauty is ashamed because she's naked (you'd think she'd get over it after a few months of being constantly naked, in a castle full of naked people) and boy-on-boy sex (This is an Ann Rice novel after-all.) The titular character doesn't even have much sex in the books, but boy do her boyfriends see a lot of action.

In summation: Terribly written, and spanking becomes so boring upon reading page after page that you'll actually start to question whether you can ever be excited by it again in RL.
