Tasks and assignments
I have an online sub that I want to give more tasks to. I'm good at coming up with masturbation-type assignments, but I'm a bit stuck as to general ones, sexual or non-sexual in nature. Thank you for any ideas or suggestions.

make your sub write essays, perhaps on a book s/he is reading, or tell her to go to a certain shop, to buy odd things, say, 1 nail, 3 oranges, etc. be very specific

I would give her essays if I were you, unless they relate directly to sexual/submissive/other bdsm aspects. You don't want it to get boring... maybe make her read a book about it, like something de Sade?
