Over the last few days i have been talking about the need for Communication in Relationships so much that i'm starting to feel like an expert . . . i'm not, its really nothing more than common sense!
In ANY RELATIONSHIP, communication is the KEY to keeping all parties healthy and happy! This is especially true in a BDSM relationship where activities are frequently dangerous and can actually cause serious injuries or death! |

You need to actually TALK to your partner, Especially IF they express an interest in activities that intimidate you!
Try to find out what they expect to get out of it, then, with their help, figure out how to give them what they want . . . SAFELY! SSC Safe Sane Consentual These words are important, in both theory and practice. But, witout good lines of communication they are just words! So please Talk to your partner, they are important and special, treasure them. Last edited by Alexia : 03-27-2008 at 06:54 AM. |
